Rooted: A Celebration of Palestinian Culture and Joy
Join us on Tuesday June 16th for an evening to feel and share in our common humanity and to bring people together around the power of art as we celebrate Palestinian culture and joy, including music by Jonas Svennem, theater and dance by Moria Foundation and poetry by Touqan Touqan (nephew of Fadwa Tuqan the “Poet of Palestine”), Judith Kiros and Ibrahim Ah-Khaffaji.
100% of the ticket sales will be donated to six incredible artists located in Gaza (www.artfromgaza.com) as well as organizations on the ground in Gaza, the occupied Palestinian Territories and Lebanon. There will also be art by the Gazan artists for sale. 100% of the purchase price goes directly to the artists.

From STHLM to Gaza is a non-profit collective based in Stockholm, Sweden. Our mission is to promote human rights and solidarity with people affected by injustice through knowledge and cultural exchanges, and community building, with particular attention on Palestine.
We believe in creating meeting places where people share knowledge, culture and community, and can learn from each other, connect experiences and work together for justice and sustainability.
Our focus is on supporting initiatives that strengthen people’s opportunities for safe and sustainable living conditions because human rights are human rights without exception.
